'Sometimes I asked for a repeat, and otherwise I guessed!'

At 75, I realised my hearing had deteriorated ‘one to one’. Sometimes I asked for a repeat, and otherwise I guessed! I even accused my grandchildren of mumbling, which was strongly denied. Eventually at my eye check up I decided to have my ears checked. As of course Leightons now do eyes and ears.

I told no one that I was having a hearing test. I was made very comfortable and felt quite at ease. I was surprised at how bad my hearing had become when I saw my graph. The results were all explained clearly to be and I was not pressurised at all to buy. Most of my friends and colleagues have rather noticeable aids. I was very impressed with the ones I tried, they are very discreet and only a couple of people have noticed them. All in all, I am very satisfied with my Oticon hearing aids, although I did grumble a little at the expense!!!
