'I wore NHS hearing aids for nearly a year'

I did have problems with my ears as a child, so I did know that later in my life I would need hearing aids. I would work with children and I did notice that, if I was at the back of the room, I could not hear what was being said. I wore NHS hearing aids for nearly a year and I hated every minute of it, if I went out for an evening I would take them out as there was a lot of feedback noise - and when it was windy I could not hear a thing.

But with Leightons they do call you back to check everything, and I do know if I have a problem, I can go and see them anytime. The aftercare is very good. A lot of people don't know I even wear hearing aids they are so small and fit in my ears unless they look at me side on, they don't know. The quality of sound is amazing. They really have changed my life, and are worth every penny. I would not be without them.
