"I knew my hearing wasn't what it should be" 

I was a cashier and if people mumbled, I just couldn’t hear them.  My sons told me I was getting worse and the TV was very loud and they kept turning it down when they visited.
I use Leightons for my eye tests and I saw the board for hearing tests outside, so I decided to make an appointment.

I was alright and not nervous at all as I knew my hearing wasn’t what it should be.
I did not feel under any pressure to buy at all.  Everyone was so nice and helpful.

I must admit, I didn’t realise the hearing aids were so small.  I only ever saw big hearing aids fitted into ears, so I was delighted with the ones I got.  You can’t see them and the quality of sound is really good.

They certainly changed my life.  I can now follow conversations when I go out for meals with friends which I couldn’t do before.  When I take my dog for a walk, I can hear the birds; I didn’t realise they were so noisy!

"I can't fault the aftercare service"  

My friend has an NHS hearing aid and I didn’t like it at all.  it just looks ugly, that’s why I decided to buy my digital ones.

I can’t fault the aftercare service.  If I have any problems, I just phone or go in and it all seems to be very helpful and pleasant.
